While wandering the streets of Birmingham, UK, Bruno Vinel captured candid moments of passersby, showcasing the rich diversity of the city’s inhabitants. Through his lens, Bruno highlighted the varied ethnicities and social statuses that defined the city. His keen eye was drawn to the vivid colours, expressive faces, and meaningful gestures that bring the character of Birmingham to life.

All pictures taken on Fujifilm X-T5 with Sigma 18-50 f2.8 or X-E4 with XF18-55 F2.8-4. For shooting from “hip level”, the lens was set up at 35mm (equivalent to 53mm in full frame), manual focus at 4m, f8 and 1/500s ISO auto.
