The sculpture was inspired by my visit to Kyoto, Japan in the Spring of 2019. I was impressed by the gardens at the golden temple and the blocks of mosses.

The sculpture was made of red clay and decorated with special glazes which recipes I found in a Special Glazes book from Linda Bloomfield.

Ceramics offers almost infinite possibilities which I explore with passion.

The sculpture is exhibited from the 19th of Nov. until the 3rd of Dec. 2023 at General Office gallery in Stourbridge.
