On 24th of January 2026 I was in London attending a street photography workshop with Brian Lloyds Duckett (@streetsnappers). We aimed to Whitehall in front of 10 Downing Street to see a demonstration from Iranian people against the regime in Iran. We then walked towards Trafalgar Square where another group was demonstrating in front of the National Gallery.
My attention was called by the number of young people demonstrating and elderly ones who were chanting slogans, or laying flowers and lighting candles next to pictures of people who disappeared or were murdered by the regime.
This was a very emotional shooting. Three weeks later it took another dimension when the war between the US/Israel and Iran started.
