On the 28th of March 2026, I had the chance to go behind the scenes of a 90s-inspired fashion shoot hosted by @__aleyshax and @captivating_club.

It was one of those rare creative moments where I arrived without a plan—and everything simply fell into place.

The energy on set was fantastic. From the styling to the attitude, there was a strong sense of the era being reimagined with a fresh, contemporary edge. What stood out most was the people: a mix of students, young creatives and photographers, all deeply passionate about fashion. I enjoyed both the images I captured and the conversations unfolding between takes.

I approached the shoot in a documentary style, focusing on candid moments, interactions and the natural rhythm of the session. Working with the Canon EOS R5, paired with the RF 28–70mm f/2.8 and RF 70–200mm f/4, allowed me to stay responsive and fluid. The Godox V1 Pro added just enough light to shape the scene without losing its atmosphere. I edited the digital images in DxO PhotoLab, using a Kodak Ektar 100 preset to echo the film aesthetic of the 90s.

In parallel, I shot film on my Olympus OM4 Ti using Kodak Portra 400, continuing my exploration of the timeless, tactile quality that analogue brings to fashion photography. The models were intrigued by the process and excited to be photographed on film, which added another layer of connection to the experience.

Thanks to everyone involved for such a great experience—these are the kinds of creative spaces that remind me why I pick up a camera in the first place.
